Flower Dragon Eye Cuff Bracelet | Copper Wire & Vintage Crystals

Some dragons guard mountains of gold. Others prefer a garden full of enchanted flowers. 🌸🐉

This beautiful Flower Dragon Eye Cuff Bracelet combines a hand-painted dragon eye with intricate copper wire weaving and vintage fuchsia crystals.

At its centre sits one of my original Flower Dragon eyes, painted in soft shades of pink and purple. A dark vertical pupil creates a striking contrast against the delicate colours.

Surrounding the eye are vintage fuchsia glass cabochons, sparkling purple glass rondelles and elaborate copper wirework.

The result is a romantic fantasy bracelet with a slightly darker, mysterious character.

Not every dragon needs flames, enormous wings or a mountain of stolen treasure.

Some, I suspect, would be perfectly happy guarding an enchanted rose garden.

My Flower Dragons take their inspiration from softer colours found in nature. Think dusky roses, purple blossoms and the magical colours of twilight.

I hand-painted this dragon eye in beautiful pink and purple tones. As the light moves across its surface, the colours reveal subtle changes in depth.

Meanwhile, the dark pupil gives the eye its unmistakable dragon-like appearance.

This combination creates a design that feels both delicate and powerful.

Beneath the dragon eye sits a row of beautiful vintage fuchsia glass cabochons.

These smooth oval stones feature reflective foil backing, which gives them their rich colour and luminous appearance.

They are vintage 2195-style cabochons, originally sourced from Crystal Parade.

Their vibrant raspberry-pink colour provides a striking contrast against the warm copper wire.

In addition, shimmering purple glass rondelle beads decorate the upper edge of the cuff.

These catch the light as the bracelet moves, adding little flashes of purple sparkle.

Together, the vintage stones and glass beads create a lovely mixture of colour and texture.

I handcrafted this Flower Dragon cuff using bare copper wire and several different weaving techniques.

Fine coils and carefully woven sections form a secure setting around the painted eye.

Decorative scrolls flow across the front of the bracelet. Meanwhile, the woven band features intricate patterns and carefully shaped curves.

Each section adds something different to the finished design.

The copper's natural warmth also complements the pink and purple tones beautifully.

As a result, this bracelet has a rich, antique-inspired appearance.

Dragons appear throughout folklore as symbols of strength, wisdom and protection.

Flowers, however, often represent beauty, renewal and the changing seasons.

My Flower Dragon designs bring these two worlds together.

They combine the strength of a mythical creature with the softer beauty of nature.

Purple has traditionally been associated with mystery and imagination. Pink, meanwhile, often symbolises affection and kindness.

Together, these colours create a dragon with a little romance and a rather independent spirit.

Of course, this is my own fantasy interpretation rather than a creature from established folklore.
