What to Expect
- Get creative this festive season in our 5 hour beginner-friendly workshop and craft your very own copper wire robin! Held in the cosy surroundings of our log cabin studio, this hands-on session will guide you through the fundamentals of wire sculpture.

- Work exclusively with copper wire to create a festive sculpture.
- Have the opportunity to antique your finished robin for a beautiful, vintage effect.
- Use all materials and tools provided in the workshop—no need to bring anything!
- Enjoy festive refreshments while you craft in a relaxed, friendly environment.
- Your finished robin will be suitable for indoor or outdoor display, making it perfect to gift or keep as a decoration.
- By the end of the session, you’ll take home a unique handcrafted robin to brighten up your home or delight someone special.
What to Bring
Everything you need to create your wire Robin is provided as part of the workshop. We’ll be working entirely with bare copper wire in a variety of gauges, using heavier wire to create the structure and finer wires to build up, shape and add character to your sculpture. You can choose to create your own armature from scratch, or, if you feel the heavier wire may be a little tough on your hands, you’re very welcome to use one of my pre-made armatures instead. You’ll still complete all the sculpting and wirework yourself, just without having to wrestle the stubborn bits into submission first! Once your Robin is complete, we’ll antique the copper to bring out the depth and detail, before polishing the raised wirework to give it that lovely warm, aged-copper finish. All wire, armatures, tools and finishing materials are supplied.

Free on-street parking is usually available on Sycamore Road and nearby side streets. Please leave space for neighbours’ driveways.
♿ Accessibility Information Our workshop is located at the top of the garden in a purpose-built larch workshop, accessed via the house and garden. There are two steps into the workshop. The toilet facilities are inside the house and are accessed via a flight of stairs. There is on-street parking available, and if you have accessibility or mobility requirements, please let me know when booking. Where possible, I can clear the driveway so you can park closer to the house and workshop, making your visit as easy and comfortable as possible. If you have any specific accessibility needs or concerns, please get in touch before your workshop and I’ll be happy to discuss how I can accommodate you.
