Purple Tree of Life Pendant | Vintage Preciosa Glass & Copper Wire

This beautiful purple Tree of Life pendant features a vintage Preciosa glass cabochon, wrapped in intricate bare copper wire.

The rich purple glass creates a striking background for the delicate copper tree. Meanwhile, flowing scrollwork frames the stone and adds an elegant, antique-inspired appearance.

I handcrafted the pendant using several wire wrapping and weaving techniques. Each branch, root and decorative curl adds character to this unique piece of jewellery.

The result is a beautiful combination of vintage glass, traditional craftsmanship and meaningful symbolism.

At the centre of this pendant sits a rich purple vintage Preciosa glass cabochon.

I created this pendant using bare copper wire, carefully shaping the metal around the glass cabochon.

Fine copper wires form the Tree of Life across the front of the stone. The branches spread upwards, while the roots flow towards the base.

In addition, decorative scrolls surround the cabochon and create an ornate frame.

Detailed weaving and wrapping secure the glass within the setting. A woven bail completes the pendant, allowing it to hang from a suitable chain or cord.

The copper's warm tones enhance the rich purple glass and give the finished design a timeless appearance.
