Copper Flower Filigree Bangle with Turquoise Beads

This copper flower filigree bangle is handmade and hand forged using solid bare copper wire. I shape and weave the wire by hand to create an open filigree design with flowing floral forms.

First, I form the base structure of the bangle using thick copper wire to give it strength and stability. Next, I build the filigree pattern by shaping and layering finer wire into organic, flower inspired shapes. Because of this process, the design feels detailed while remaining balanced and wearable.

Then, I add turquoise beads throughout the filigree. These beads bring soft colour and contrast to the warm tones of the copper. In addition, turquoise has long been associated with protection, calm, and grounding energy, which adds meaning to the design.

After shaping the bangle, I antique the copper by hand. This step darkens the recessed areas while highlighting the raised wire, which enhances the depth and texture of the filigree. As a result, the bracelet gains an aged and timeworn finish.

Finally, I adjust the bangle so it can fit a wide range of wrist sizes. Because the design is adjustable, it sits comfortably on most wrists while keeping its shape.
